Since 2009, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue has rescued and rehomed over 23,000 Lucky Dogs and Cats. This life-saving walk is critical to that success. It's a great team to be on!

I am writing to you today to ask for your help. While people all over the country enjoy summertime fun, more than 60 dogs, 33 of them puppies, sat in a high kill shelter in South Carolina. Alone. Afraid. And, without hope.
I am working to change that. I volunteer with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to save homeless and abandoned dogs and cats from shelters throughout the rural south. To give them a second chance at a loving home. Dogs (OR CATS) like XXX (PICK FROM WEBSITE) who are waiting for someone to step in and save them.
To do this, I need your help! Please, any amount helps. $25 provides life-saving vaccines. $100 can neuter a dog in preparation for transport and $300 can provide life-saving heartworm treatment. DONATE HERE (INSERT YOUR LINK).

Meet XX! Not long ago, this sweet dog/cat was sitting in a high kill shelter without a hope in the world. Then Lucky Dog stepped in and gave him/her a second chance. XX is one of the Lucky Ones, but every day the kennel he/she came from fills back up. Every day another dog/cat faces death -- unless Lucky Dog can save them.

So far, this year, Lucky Dog has:
- Partnered with Southwest Airlines to bring 14,400 lbs of supplies to Puerto Rico and bring 62 animals back to DC
- Rescued more than 1000 dogs and cats from across the rural south, Texas, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Kosovo and beyond
- Held a free community spay day in which we altered 40 animals in Florence County, SC
- Led volunteer trips to Florence County and San Juan so that our volunteers can help on the ground at the shelter we work with
- Recruited and trained approximately 60 new fosters and 20 new adoption coordinator
