Save TWICE as many puppies and kittens

Dear Animal Lover,

I have truly incredible news. Two of our most generous donors, Grant Verstandig and Catherine Phillips, read about the overcrowding in South Carolina and have offered to match ALL DONATIONS between now and December 31st up to $100,000! This means your donation will go twice as far

Your gift today will not just help save the 32 puppies and kittens waiting to come to DC tomorrow. It means that puppies like Holiday will have their best chance at survival. Holiday showed up at the South Carolina shelter literally minutes after Grant and Catherine made their generous offer. Her six siblings had been transported in a crate together, keeping each other warm in the back of a truck. For some reason, Holiday was not included. She rode separately. In near-freezing temperatures. Almost dead upon arrival.

Lucky for Holiday, our volunteers were at the shelter when she arrived. We committed to saving her before she even entered the shelter, whisking her away to the emergency vet. Getting her stabilized. Doing everything we could to get her through the night. We could not have done this - could not have acted so quickly - had you not had our backs. Please, can you make your life-saving donation today? Can you help TWICE as many animals with YOUR matched gift?

I want to thank each and every one of you who has donated to our year-end campaign so far. Each and every one of you who is continuing to donate as we get closer to December 31st. Your support is vital to our work. It is essential if we are going to bring 32 puppies and 10 kittens to DC tomorrow. It enables us to say YES to all of the dogs and cats we find in high kill shelters. Dogs and cats, puppies and kittens without homes, without love, and without the things they need to not just survive but to thrive. Lucky Dog exists to help them find a better life. Will YOU Help?

Your Help is Needed Now to Save These Puppies

I didn't think I'd be writing to you so soon after Giving Tuesday. But then again, I didn't think that our partners in South Carolina would be facing historic overcrowding so early in December. Or that this week alone, we would learn of THIRTY TWO puppies who needed immediate rescue.

I never imagined that I would need your help this badly. Or that so many young lives would be on the line.

One thing I do know, however, is that our Lucky Dog community always steps up. Amazing supporters like YOU always have our back. Always make sure we can do whatever is needed to save these precious lives.

Sally, Sammie, Shelly, Skip, Steffy, Stevie & Suzy are counting on us. Will you make a lifesaving year-end donation to help us save them?

These seven puppies were recently dumped at the shelter. Just two and a half months old, yet unwanted. Unplanned. Unloved.

Not because there was something wrong with them. But because their mother had not been spayed. Her owner couldn't afford it. And, she certainly did not want 7 more mouths to feed.

The good news is that Lucky Dog was there to help. To give the puppies vaccines. To get them healthy enough to travel. And to even get mom spayed. With your continued support, the S pups can be on a van to DC this Saturday, ready to find their forever homes!

Can you help us get them safely to DC?

Nadine, Nancy, Nuggett, Nadia, Nico, Nolan showed up at the shelter without their mother. We may not know their back story, but we do know what will happen if we don't step in. If we don't get them out of the cold, dark shelter. If we don't give them a second chance.

Without us, the six N puppies would become just another statistic. Just six of the 1.5 million animals euthanized in shelters across America each year. But with Lucky Dog -- with YOU -- the N puppies will become treasured family members. Best friends for some lucky humans who, right now, are searching for the perfect canine companion.

Please, don't let the N pups become a sad statistic. Make your lifesaving year-end donation today.

Your support will make it possible for us to schedule an emergency puppy transport this weekend. Will help 32 puppies and ten kittens escape an overcrowded shelter in Florence, SC and put them on their freedom ride to DC. Will allow us to keep fighting for every animal we can save.

Will you #givesotheymaylive?

Thank you on behalf of all the Lucky Dogs and Cats,
