Just 2 days after adoption, Breezy was diagnosed with severe bladder stones, and she needs urgent surgery. This lovable Norfolk Terrier has been through so much in her life. Rescued after spending seven years as a commercial breeder dog in Oklahoma, she was adopted by a wonderful family on August 11, 2024.
Just hours after her arrival, her family noticed blood in her urine and rushed to book the earliest vet appointment. The diagnosis wasn't a UTI as they initially thought; blood tests and x-rays revealed multiple large bladder stones that required surgery. Additionally, Breezy has a non-cancerous inflammation in one of her mammary glands, likely due to overbreeding.
This sweet girl has suffered from neglect and malnourishment, but she is now experiencing good things for the first time. We’re committed to giving Breezy the love and care she needs to thrive. Seeing her reaction to her reflection in a mirror was heartwarming; she has so much joy and many firsts ahead of her.
We want to ensure Breezy lives the rest of her life free from pain and full of happiness.
Please consider donating to ensure her family can provide the care needed for Breezy, who has faced so many health issues and medical costs already in her life.
