Adoption fees are nonrefundable and should not be paid without a Lucky Dog Adoption Coordinator giving you specific instructions on payment. Fees paid prior to adoption approval and before completing an adoption contract are considered donations. They do not serve as an adoption or to reserve a Lucky Dog or puppy.

Lucky Dog is committed to finding loving forever homes for each of our Lucky Dogs. Our customized adoption process is designed to find the best fit for adopters, whatever they may be looking for. You may have a specific dog or puppy in mind or just beginning your search for a new family member; wherever you are in the process our Adoption Coordinators are here to guide you through the process.
Once you submit an application, one of our Adoption Coordinators will reach out for an interview and will help you through the adoption process. Once that is complete, we will arrange to meet you to finalize the adoption. Please note that our adoption fee varies for adult dogs and puppies, and if the dog has been treated for heartworm disease.
